Reflection on 2021: Preparing for Graduate School Entrance Exam
In the year 2021, I dedicated myself to preparing for the graduate school entrance exam. Despite falling short of the required score and facing disappointment, that year of study was incredibly enriching. While my major was in computer science, I chose to delve into the realm of signals and systems during my preparation for the entrance exam.
Academic Journey
Throughout this period, I immersed myself in the intricacies of signals and systems, a departure from my primary focus on computer science. The decision to explore this field was driven by my eagerness to broaden my knowledge base and challenge myself intellectually.
Enriching Experience
Despite the ultimate outcome not aligning with my initial aspirations, the journey itself was immensely fulfilling. The process of preparing for the entrance exam allowed me to deepen my understanding of signals and systems, providing a unique perspective that complemented my computer science background.
Lessons Learned
Though I faced a setback in not achieving the desired exam results, the experience taught me the value of resilience and the importance of embracing diverse academic challenges. It reinforced the idea that failure can be a stepping stone to growth and opened my eyes to new areas of study that I might not have explored otherwise.
Looking back, 2021 was a year of academic exploration, self-discovery, and resilience. While the outcome may not have been what I initially hoped for, the knowledge gained and the lessons learned have undoubtedly contributed to my personal and intellectual development.
